                 ~Tricolor Sedum~

Evergreen, loose rosettes of succulent green leaves with cream and pink to red edges on trailing stems.   Use as a trailing plant in terracotta colored containers.

Bloom: Starry pink flowers from July to September.

Habit: 3-6" tall by 12-24" wide.  An attractive ground cover or rock garden plant.

Exposure: Full sun to part shade.

Site:  Best in sharply drained soil in full sun.   Drought tolerant once established.

Spreading rate:  Medium.

Fertilizing:  Feed in early spring and again lightly in early fall.  Use a balanced fertilizer, preferably one containing a slow release nitrogen source.  Always follow the manufacturer's label recommendations when making any applications of fertilizer.  Be sure to rinse the fertilizer off the foliage.

Watering:  Regular summer water should be provided the first couple of years to ensure good plant establishment and to promote maximum growth.  After that, water as needed.

Pruning: Remove any solid green stems if they appear.  Prune as you wish to control height and shape.

Foot traffic:  No.

Hardiness:  -30° to -20° F.
