              ~'London Pride'~

Forms a low, spreading mat.  A visually interesting plant with dark green and bright yellow splashed leaves.  Makes a nice ground cover, edging, or rock garden plant.  Small, white, star shaped  flowers are borne on 12' tall  stems.

Bloom: Small, starry white flowers on 12" tall spikes in May-June.

Habit: 3-4" tall and 18-36" wide. 

Exposure: Morning sun with afternoon shade to full shade. 

Site: Best in average to moist, well drained soil.  

Spreading rate:  Medium.  Spreads by above-ground runners.

Fertilizing:  Feed in early spring and again lightly in early fall.  Use a balanced fertilizer, preferably one containing a slow release nitrogen source.  Always follow the manufacturer's label recommendations when making any applications of fertilizer.  Be sure to rinse the fertilizer off the foliage.

Watering:  Regular summer water should be provided the first couple of years to ensure good plant establishment and to promote maximum growth.  After that, water as needed.

Pruning: Prune as necessary.
